R.<\/p>\n<p>The article discusses the features and some aspects of the assimilation of pre-Buddhist beliefs by Buddhist clergy. Coming Buddhism to the Buryat lands marked changes in religious views connected with the spread and introduction of Buddhist rites and customs into their traditional beliefs.
