O.<\/p>\n<p>The article is devoted to the contribution of the Venerable Geshe Jampa Tinley, Doctor of Buddhist Philosophy, Honorary Professor of Tuvan State University to the revival of Buddhism in Tuva. The beginning of Geshe\u2019s activities in Russia can be traced in a historical retrospective, when His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, after arriving in Tuva in 1992, sent his disciple, a heart student, to Russia. The author considers some facts of the biography of Geshe Tinley, the essence of his tireless effort.
